S-172 Silicone Release Coating Splicing Tape

The Great Tape Company’s GT S 172 developed specifically for splicing release papers and double-sided pressure sensitive tapes. Silicone release coating on topside of tape provides a continuous release coated surface throughout the spliced area. Silicone adhesive exhibits excellent quick stick and high adhesion as well as high temperature resistance for oven cure applications.

This tape has a soft, ultra high tack silicone adhesive system that provides excellent quick stick characteristics and bonds aggressively to silicone release liners. The Great Tape Company’s GT S 172 is self wound (no release liner) and features a silicone release system on the backing side which provides the easiest release working splice available in the industry.
